+/- 20 km hike, easy to moderate level / rando de niveau moyen

Let's go for a hike & spend the day in the great outdoors
& still not far (less than an hour away by suburban train) from central Paris.

We will walk through the open fields mostly, to enjoy the sunlight before autumn comes back, soon...

Average (but not slow) walking pace of +/- 4.5km/hour

Our train is departing at 9.49 from Gare de l'Est
--> train "ZIMO" going to Chateau-Thierry (see 1 event photo for the details).

Meeting time is 9.30 - be on time please - or from 9.35 find the group sitting somewhere near the middle of the train.
We get off & start the hike in La Ferté sous Jouarre at 10.30am.

A ticket costs 6€ - buy a one way only please ... and the return (6€ too) will be from "Lizy sur Ourcq" another town and train station.

Or a good option is to have a monthly or yearly Navigo Pass for zones 1/2 - allowing for unlimited suburban train trips (at week-ends only).
Bring along decent sports shoes, enough to eat (snacks + your packed lunch) and to drink (1.5L) + something waterproof for sitting on the ground at the lunch break, sunscreen or a good hat, mosquito repellent just in case ...

Event fee: 3€ in cash per person/ - try have exact change.

Back to Paris-Est around 5.10 pm from another station - Lizy sur Ourcq...

Cette rando ne sera pas en forêt, mais plutôt à travers champs : profitons de la luminosité avant l’arrivée de l’automne !

Niveau moyen, vitesse moyenne et < 4.5km/h : pas de la marche rapide, ni lente...

Prévoir d'avoir tout l'équipement de base, assez à manger et à boire (1.5L) pour la journée, crèmes : solaire et anti-moustiques au cas où, qqch d'étanche comme 1 cape ou 1 kway pour vous asseoir au sol sans crainte le midi, 1 chapeau,
et 3€ (en cash seulement) comme frais de participation,

votre Pass' Navigo mensuel/annuel ou sinon 1 billet aller simple pour La ferté sous Jouarre.
