You’ll build some confidence, stretch your creativity, and connect with others. Fun! Improv is a fun thing to do!
✨ What to Expect:
- Fun (told you!), interactive exercises that warm up your body and brain
- Simple ways to approach responding playfully to support yourself & your scene partner(s)
- A focus on trust, teamwork, and naturally finding the funny together
- A space that welcomes all backgrounds, levels, and nervous butterflies 🦋🦋
Come as you are—no experience needed, just a willingness to try. Whether you're here to perform, play, or just shake up your routine, this is your chance to dive into the joy of improv.
(And if you’ve been playing for a while and need to shake off all the theories and techniques and come back to simple presence, connection, and play, this is your invitation.)
Let’s do some make-em-ups! 🎉
Who is writing this? Lexie and Thom!
I'm Lexie, a writer and improviser who grew up all over because my dad was probably a spy. I moved to Paris from LA, where I trained and performed at the Groundlings and UCB theaters. In my 20 years of improv, I've been on and coached a dozen different house teams. I currently co-produce and -host Improv Fight Night Paris, a fiercely noncompetitive battle for laughs on the last Monday of every month.
And I’m Thom! I’ve been an improviser for nearly 20 years, I've trained and played mainly at and around the Magnet Theater in NYC,. In Paris I occasionally perform with Quincy & Alex, Improv Playground, and the Imaginary Friends. I work as a mental health and creativity coach in addition to offering improv workshops, classes, and coaching/directing in and around Île de France.
** What if I can’t afford that? Please still reach out! We don’t want money to be the only reason that you are unable to play/take this opportunity. We can talk about sliding scale, skills-exchange, barter, etc. We’re all human beings with dignity, and there are ways we can and will make this work for everyone. Give yourself the gift of knowing that this is a YES.
