Right Bank Writers’ Group — Writing Exercise Workshop

A creative writing workshop brought to you by Paris Lit Up.

On the first Saturday of every month, the Right Bank Writers’ Group gets together to write, experiment and see where a prompt might take us.

During the workshop, we’ll work through a variety of creative writing exercises exploring things like character, dialogue, description, voice, structure and storytelling. Some exercises might last just a few minutes, while others give you more time to develop an idea.

There’s no pressure to produce something polished — the aim is to write, experiment and try things out. There will also be opportunities to share what you’ve written with the group if you’d like to.

Whether you write fiction, poetry, nonfiction or something that doesn’t quite fit into a category, you’re welcome.

No preparation or existing work is required. Just bring a notebook and a pen. No laptops or tablets.

The workshop costs 5€, which helps Paris Lit Up cover the cost of renting the space. Cash and card accepted.
