Let’s head to the Musee de l’Homme for its bilingual exhibition dedicated to the footwear known as « sneakers », « trainers »!
The exhibition will take you through the history of this revolutionary footwear!…
Initially associated only with sporting activities, sneakers soon became essential footwear when the hip-hop movement in the United States adopted them. A symbol of freedom and cultural expression,these rubber soled items have a fascinating history and play an essential role for brands! How interesting!
The plan : - Let's meet first for a get-to-know everyone coffee/croissant at 10.30 am in a nice café nearby,
- Then head for the exhibition around 11.30amish.
- For those who want, we can go for a casual lunch after the museum!
Note: Do book your ticket ahead for the 11am slot to secure your museum entrance: Price depends from 12€, 9€ or free for under 26 years old!
