Paris Outdoor Hikers

Let’s cross the entire Chevreuse Natural Park on foot, walking from Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse all the way to Rambouillet. This 25km journey is designed to be a long, challenging, and incredibly rewarding day on the trail as we reach the very edge of the Île-de-France region.

Our path will take us through a mix of deep, serene forests, wide-open fields, and quiet country roads. It is a significant physical undertaking, but there is a unique sense of accomplishment in traversing this much of the classic French countryside entirely by your own power. Join us for a great day of disconnecting in nature and hitting the trail!

📏Hike Details

• Distance: ~25km
• Elevation gain: +300 m
• Duration: ~7h (including stops and lunch)
• Difficulty: Difficult. (we are walking at a 4.5 km/h pace, for your reference). You need to comfortably be able to walk in your day to day activities at least 15 km.
• Lunch: We’ll stop for lunch in the forest, so please bring your own food and water.
• Language: English – ideal for expats and anglophones living in or visiting Paris.

You are responsible for your own actions — please ensure you feel comfortable with the distance, and you act responsibly.

• Comfortable walking shoes
• Rain jacket or umbrella
