Seine and Fontainebleau Forest (19 km)
Details
I invite you to join me for a scenic walk starting from the historic banks of the Seine in Melun, where we will begin our journey along the river before diving into the heart of the Forêt de Fontainebleau. We will leave the urban landscape behind to enter a world of ancient woodlands, navigating the winding trails and iconic sandstone boulders that make this forest legendary. The highlight of our hike will be the ascent to the historic Tour Denecourt, where we’ll pause to take in an incredible panoramic view over the vast green canopy of Fontainebleau and the surrounding valleys. It’s a perfect day out for anyone looking to combine riverside charm with the rugged, natural beauty of this forest so close to Paris.
