Deborah Gallin on Street Art in Paris

Details
This Storytelling Evening features Deborah Gallin who will share her passion for Street Art (aka Urban Art) in Paris with a multi-media presentation. She will touch on the history and knowing well so many street artists, will give us some insight into their inspirations and motivations. Deborah is founder of Art Works Internationally an outgrowth of her passion where she promotes street artists in Europe, North America, and the African continent. She will spotlight Hydrane, a pluri-disciplinary French-Peruvian Urban Artist and Architect who uses dramatic color and Peruvian forms and is inspired by hip-hop culture. One of her large-scale murals she painted on the building just next to the Storytelling Salon location. We will exit to view this stellar example of how this urban artist masters scale and various techniques to create a fascinating translation of emotions, communicating colors in harmony with and adapting to the urban space
The menu (see below) features Street Food from around the world (Mexico, France, the US and Italy) plus beer, wine and champagne to accompany the courses.
Here are some questions Deborah will field and she welcomes more.
What is the difference between tags, graffiti and street art?
What is the link between punk rock, hip hop and Street Art?
What sparked your interest and passion for this type of art?
What is the evolution of Street Art in other environments?
I hope to welcome you in Paris at 19:00 for dinner and the program.
Yours in Urban Art,
Bernadette
