The Art Nouveau movement blossomed during the “Belle Epoque”. It quickly spread through art, design, jewelry, furniture and even architecture.

The most beautiful metro entrances in Paris in the style of Art Nouveau are the creations of Hector Guimard, an architect whose uncompromised vision was to bring Art Nouveau into people’s lives.

This tour will take you to the “chic” and gorgeous 16th arrondissement where Guimard lived and built superb Art Nouveau townhouses and buildings for people of all social classes. You will also see Art Déco buildings and learn to differentiate the two styles.
