Calling Toronto parks and nature lovers!

There’s a phrase often used to describe Toronto, either what it is or what it could be:

“A City Within a Park”

As if Toronto is really a giant green space, with a bunch of city constructions covering up most of it, but underneath it all still a parkland at heart.

It’s a stretch, but I like this vision. I want to celebrate and make the most of this Park City.

Starting with cleaning up some of Toronto’s beaches, parks, trails, and green spaces.

These meetups will be about exploring these parks, clearing out some litter, and finding ways to bring the “City Within a Park” a bit more to life.

We'll start with the backbone of the city: the Lake Ontario waterfront. We’ll start from the west end, and every meetup (tentatively scheduled to be most Sundays, except for certain holidays or when bad weather hits) we’ll pick up where we left off and carry on.
