New experiment for us... a bike ride around Park Ridge is not new, but this time we'll make stops at several spots where local residents have chosen to make spaces into "sustainable yards" and offered to put those on display for the community to see, from 9 AM - 1 PM today!
Plan is to set a starting point and make a loop around town & past all the yards on the 2025 tour, with a brief stop at each to take a peek. Starting point is not yet confirmed (as I am awaiting final release of the list of locations, from which I will map a route!). But it is likely to be a few mile loop in all, starting near downtown. Check back here in the next few weeks for details, or sign up (allowing e-mail notifications) to be automatically updated...
Depending on the number of participants, and size of the final loop we make to see all these homes, we can decide as a group if we'd like to extend our ride a few more miles, or just make this loop and head back to our starting point.
