Bible Study – Creation to Christ: God’s Law, Sabbath, and the Consistency of God
📅 February 13
⏰ 7:30 PM – 9:00 PM
📍 Public Bible Study (All Are Welcome)
Have you ever wondered why the Bible sometimes feels disconnected—as if the Old and New Testaments are telling different stories?
In this study, we’ll explore a powerful and often-overlooked theme of Scripture: the consistency of God from Creation to Christ.
Rather than starting at Mount Sinai, we’ll begin in Genesis and follow the biblical clues that reveal how God’s law, Sabbath, and design for life existed long before Israel—and how Jesus did not abolish God’s ways, but fulfilled and restored them.
This study will challenge common assumptions while keeping the focus where it belongs:
👉 on the greatness, wisdom, and intentional design of God Almighty
Topics we’ll explore:
Did God’s law begin at Sinai—or at Creation?
Why did people like Abraham obey God before the Ten Commandments?
Is God’s law a burden, or a guide to joyful living?
What does the Bible actually say about the Sabbath and holy time?
How does the New Covenant change where the law is written—not what it is?
This is not a debate and not about church traditions, but an invitation to dig deeper into Scripture and rediscover how unified, intentional, and awe-inspiring God truly is.
