Lawn Games, Chill, and Chat. It's Christmas, Let's Get Out!
Details
WHAT: Relaxed outdoor fun at beautiful Crown Point Park
Come play Molkky (scatter), Bocce Ball, CornHole, or toss an aerobee and enjoy some friendly conversation. We will have a NEW game, come check it out.
First timers don't be shy... We are a friendly bunch! We seek fun and connection with a little friendly competition. Some folks just come to hang out and chat rather than play, and a few people bring their lunch for themselves, but no need to bring extra for others. Note: No dogs are allowed at Crown Point.
WHO: This social event is open to everyone. You may bring up to 2 guests but please mark "+1" or "+2" in your RSVP to keep the total count correct, and PLEASE update your RSVP if you won't be going so that one from the wait-list will be able to attend.
WHERE: Crown Point Park.
We try to be somewhere between the southernmost and middle parking lots. Nearer the frontage road than the water. Check the map and look for small multicolor street cones on the grass, and the little Snoopy welcome flag.
Check the comments when you arrive. Sometimes we have to adjust "our spot." The map pin is relative and not spot-on accurate. Basically draw a line through La Mancha Dr on a map, towards the water and we're halfway. If you arrive and have trouble finding us please call Hugh at 858-257-8757 and I'll wave you in :0)
WHAT TO BRING:
Bring your own lunch or snacks if you'll be hungry (some people eat, some don't), lawn chair or towel, WARM hoodie/jacket (wear layers if cool windy day), sunscreen, hat, frisbee or football, a board game if you like!
