TRANSIT OF VENUS

Details

When we're ready we will make a short carpool to the start of the Transit of Venus walking trail. (or a short downhill walk)
Three beautiful waterfalls and all to ourselves. The first of these waterfalls is Mabel Falls, a lovely spot to cool down with a refreshing dip. We stroll through tall tree ferns on our way to Edith Falls, a real hidden gem, with an interesting path down to the base of the falls were you can frolic on boulders while enjoying a delightful shower.

We'll soon arrive at the overhang behind Hazel Falls which we can walk all the way down to a small pool below. I'll chill out on the rocks and admire the tallest of the Falls with a dark and mysterious cave to contemplate.
Eventually we'll make our way back to the start and search for a decent lunch after all our activities.
I'll include a few pics if I can find them.

If you want to find out more just ring 0451483009 after breakfast and I'll tell you that we'll finish in about three and a half hours and trudge around 7 kilometres more or less depending on how much exploring we feel like doing.

GRATUITY: If you would consider donating just $5 to a worthy cause than I'll have enough for morning tea and feel more inclined to proceed with the day's activities.

DISCLAIMER: If you rush off in wreckless abandonment and fall down a waterfall, then I can't help but feel concerned but not responsible for any injuries you sustain in doing so. I'll check my first aid kit to see if I actually have anything in it.
