AUBURN IN AUTUMN. ๐๐ป
Details
Since I'm in Sydney I may as well take advantage of the situation and indulge myself in the beauty of the Auburn Japanese Botanical Gardens. Who knows when I'll be back.
Let's get out and enjoy the colours of autumn in a beautiful location then partake of delicious food over lunch with a relaxing creek stroll thrown in as well.
A short walk to Mona Street Park is where we start a leisurely stroll along Duck River to Auburn Botanical Gardens, home to the Cherry Blossom Festival and many native plants and animals and of cause the famous Japanese Gardens with it's myriad of colour.
After an hour or two exploring the gardens we go around the corner to Auburn Tennis Club for a delicious lunch and drinks (coffee or something more soothing)
With lunch to keep up our strength we continue to explore the other side of the river on bush tracks back to Granville for bus or train home.
A beautiful autumn day out suitable for everybody with plenty to keep you occupied. Don't forget the camera and some cash for lunch and $7 admission to the gardens.(swipe card only,no dirty money)
P.S. If your driving, park in the big car park next to the bus interchange at Granville Station, then join me at El Sweetie.
P.P.S. If you don't know where your going buzz me on 0451483009, otherwise congratulations.
GRATUITY: Due to the admission fees to the Gardens I thought it would be a bit rude to impose any more costs upon anybody. Save your money for lunch at the Club afterwards.
DISCLAIMER: I couldn't imagine anyone sustaining any form of injuries on our stroll, but just in case something should crop up I'll remain anonymous. All care but no responsibility and so forth.
Will include some photos I took on a previous visit to the Gardens.
