With the demise of The Convict Road Walk at Wiseman's Ferry due to lack of drivers I've decided on one of my favourite adventures along the creeks.

What better way to start Toongabbie Creek than from Toongabbie. This walk takes us along canals, through parklands under bridges and of course the beautiful bush tracks following the creek.

We traverse some spectacular scenery on the Water Dragon Way and Moxhams Meander on our way to Northmead NBC Sports Club for lunch.

One for the road then bus back to Parramatta from outside the club
.As usual, if your as confused as I am give me a call on 0451483009.

P.S. For people driving, park at the NBC Sports Club. 166 Windsor Road, Northmead. Proceed to the bus stop opposite the Club and catch the bus no later than 8:50 (or earlier) to Parramatta in time for the train to Toongabbie at 9:21.(don't be late)
Bus every 5 to 10 minutes from Club.

Wrap up: Should take around three hours, maybe more if you take the time to admire the fern gullies, the picturesque creek crossings and the natural beauty that abounds.

Actually, a fairly leisurely walk with no hills to climb, (maybe a few interesting creek crossing to negotiate) unlike my mountain hikes, easier and about 10 kms, good opportunity for all the latest members to stretch their legs.
