It's been a while since I visited Darling Mills Creek, so Darling I'm back.

From Old Northern Road it's a short walk along Excelsior Avenue to Excelsior Reserve then Bidjigal Reserve and onto the Platypus Track, a beautiful bush trail following Excelsior Creek with numerous creek crossings on wooden bridges and stepping stones.

Excelsior Creek leads us to the Murri-Yanna Track and the magnificent DARLING Mills Creek. But all so easy and the beauty is breathtaking.

This walk finishes with a short climb out to Ventura Road Northmead where a delicious lunch awaits us at the Pourt Coffee Cafe.

If your driving park at the Pourt Coffee Cafe on Ventura Road (get there early and enjoy a coffee before you depart) then proceed to the Willows Retirement Village on Windsor Road opposite to join the bus at 9:39

This is a beautiful walk following creeks all the way along bush tracks with many creek crossings and a short climb out. Anyone can handle it, no hurry, just another relaxing day out.

We will be enjoying ourselves in the bush for about two and a half hours, even three if we explore some hidden gems. You'll have to come along if you want to find out what hidden secrets the creek has to offer.

Bring your camera to capture the grandeur of this natural environment.

Ring 0451483009 to capture any more details.

GRATUITY: $5 would help go towards Meetup fees or at least a coffee and possibly some carrot cake 🍰
