Join two of our longtime members (Ted and Bev) at their Newmarket French conversation group !

This spontaneous conversation group welcomes ADULTS/18+ (FRENCH SPEAKERS... to strong beginners) who are looking to practice their French CONVERSATION SKILLS.

Come and join “Le Coin Français de Newmarket”, a group for those with a passion for the french language and a desire to converse with others in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

Everyone from strong beginners to native French speakers are welcome!

Our gatherings are designed for anyone with a passion for the French language and a desire to converse in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

Mission: Le Coin Français de Newmarket aims to provide a comfortable avenue for individuals to engage in meaningful discussions in the French language. Don’t be surprised if you find some new friends. We believe that language learning is not only about mastering words but also about connecting with people.

Our mission is threefold:

Facilitate French Conversation - We encourage participants to express themselves in French, allowing them to practice and improve their language skills through interactive conversations.
Cultivate a Friendly Atmosphere - Our group is dedicated to creating a warm, inclusive, and respectful setting where participants can comfortably share their thoughts and experiences in French.
Varied Language Levels - We welcome individuals with diverse French language proficiency, from strong beginners to native speakers. This diversity ensures dynamic discussions and valuable learning experiences.

Meeting Format:

Sessions last for an hour and a half, providing ample time for meaningful conversations. During our sessions, participants are encouraged to choose a table with three other attendees. This table arrangement is designed to create an intimate setting that facilitates discussions. However, halfway through the session, we encourage participants to mix tables, enabling them to interact with a wider range of individuals. This promotes diverse conversations and further strengthens connections.
