May Book Club Meeting Horse by Geraldine Brooks

Join us at Nick's Pasadena on Lake for our next book club meeting! We will be eating dinner as well, so please bring cash. The book for this month is HORSE by Geraldine Brooks.
This book is a multi-layered historical fiction novel that interweaves the story of enslaved Black groomsmen and trainers who were critical to the success of the legendary racehorse Lexington, with contemporary narratives exploring racism and injustice.
