Join us for our new read...Middlemarch, a masterpiece of Victorian literature by George Eliot, published in 1871-72. It is a panoramic view of provincial English life in the fictional town of Middlemarch during the 1830s. On February 28th at 4:00PM we will discuss THE FIRST HALF ONLY. No Spoilers if you read the whole thing. Please attempt to read up to Chapter XLI (page 270 in my copy) for discussion on Feb 28th. Again, if you do read past the beginning of chapter XLI we prefer you dont discuss it so we can all be surprised by what comes next!
