Updated 11/8/17 - If you're looking for parking, there is plenty of parking on nearby streets as well as the Target parking structure. Their garage is a little pricey ($16) so you might want to find street parking.

NOTE: The front doors lock (the ones near Del Frisco’s) on Lake, after 6:30PM. The ones in the court yard (near Paul Mitchell School) will still be open. We'll probably have a volunteer stay downstairs to help guide people inside.

Speaker #1: Newton Truong is a developer with many hats at Deep 6 AI, who's done a bit of everything from data engineering to natural language processing.Previously I was an electrical engineering student at UCLA specializing in robotics.

Deep 6 AI (formerly Deep 6 Analytics) applies artificial intelligence to the unstructured data in medical records to find more, better-qualified patients for clinical trials in minutes rather than months.

Speaker #2: Ryan Monroe moved to Pasadena from Jacksonville, Florida. He studied computer engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology and proceeded to design cutting-edge signal processing systems with NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Passionate about the mountains, moving to South California was a natural fit: in his free time, Ryan climbs the tallest peaks in the Summer and skis down them in the Winter. Ryan is presently wrapping up his Ph.D. at California Institute of Technology while seeking to revolutionize the traffic control industry with the Street Simplified team.
