InsightOut: Foodies.AI [Assistant/Search] & Offworld.AI [Aerospace/Robotics­]

Our 2nd speaker is coming from a company called OffWorld which is enabling human settlement of space by developing a new generation of small, smart, learning industrial robots.

We need a robotic workforce to do the heavy lifting: build landing pads, excavate underground habitats, extract water ice and materials, make drinkable water, breathable air and rocket propellant, manufacture basic structures and solar cells, produce electricity - in short, we need thousands of robots that could mine, manufacture and build on Moon, asteroids and Mars. We are building a robotic workforce for the solar system starting with large scale deployments in terrestrial industries.

Updated 12/8/17 - Our 1st speaker this week is Scott Tamura, Co-Founder and CEO, Foodies.ai (http://foodies.ai/) who will talk about building a better chatbot.

Foodies.ai is the leading dish discovery chatbot connecting foodies to their favorite dishes nearby, wherever they are, whenever.

Scott is a self-taught software engineer who has implemented the logic, machine learning, and Natural Language Processing that power the Foodies.ai engine. Foodies.ai is part of the LA Chamber of Commerce Bixel Exchange EIR Startup Accelerator.

Prior to Foodies.ai Scott created the SportsFollower and Travelmooch apps on iOS/Android and is an alum of startup accelerator, DreamIt Ventures.
