Dr. Don Brittain has a broad range of technical experience ranging from computer graphics research to commercial software development. He is currently working on the application of Artificial Intelligence to visual computing at NVIDIA.

Previously, he co-founded Instant Effects and was the architect of their breakthrough real-time event production software, used by Fortune 500 companies around the world. Don was also one of the original architects of Autodesk's 3ds max™, a leading Windows-based 3D modeling, animation and rendering package used to create special effects, product designs and general 3D animated graphics. Brittain holds a Bachelor Degree in Mathematics from MIT and a Doctorate in Mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania. He also holds ten patents in the fields of interactive computer graphics and animation.
