Downtown Pasadena, chique "steampunk"-style bar

Come relax for a bit with likeminded folks in a nice "dark" (but with windows) bar with great food from a nearby Asian fusion restaurant if you want to eat too.

Plenty of standing and mingling room as well as high-top tables and bar seating for ease of mixing and meeting as many folks as possible (thus, no long seated dinners at most of my events, not that anything is wrong with that).

The bar is called "Behind Bars" although, strangely, there is still no name outside on the building. Think speakeasy / search-and-find... but worth it!

The best is the location: downtown Pasadena with plenty of space on a Friday night.

Note, however, that you have to walk in as it is in an alleyway just south of Edwin Mills. Lots of parking garages nearby as well as some street parking (always a bit challenging in Pas on a spring/summer Friday night).

Note: I will be setting attendance limits in the future as my events are luckily getting more and more popular. Thus, to not block others, please, folks, don't sign up unless you also plan to show up. You know the drill. Please respect that!

Hot summers and rooftop bars are in our immediate future, but for now, let's try out this one! I've stopped by several times and they seem really friendly and welcoming!
