Sunday slow-down

Come join us wind down the week with a lazy Sunday afternoon drink at the trendy Grant bar in Glassell Park! The bar has happy hour every day and, more importantly, a nice mixture of interesting folks, yet plenty of room to stand and mingle along with, of course, plenty of space to sit.

I'll try a pre-dinner Sunday event as I got several requests for that over recent months and agree that weekdays can be too busy as is...

The same things apply as for my other events:

You must buy something from the bar. It does not have to be alcohol, but despite tough financial times, you cannot "get something later." Not many of you do, but please don't. Tip the waitstaff. Not many venues welcome large groups such as us.

You are welcome to mingle for work, personal reasons, whatever.

You can only bring your own food to some of my events. This one is not one of them.

Some of you are getting way worse at signing up without showing up. I will start spot-checking people soon. DO NOT DO THAT! It should be obvious why!

Please pay me $3 for my meetup fees, drinks, etc. Paying on this website works. The website will still mark you as "unpaid." It always does. I don't know why that is. You can also Venmo met to @Myanna-Dellinger (last digits 7295). The easiest: bring cash, but please bring exact or small change... It's harder for me to have to change $20 bills on the spot... This is all on the honor system as I much prefer, as you know, to mingle and chat with you than policing my group. Just know that meetup is a company and charges pretty steep fees every 6 months (other hosts pay them too).

Other than that: Time to bring out that sexy summer dress if you feel like it! Or not! Whether you are male or female! :). It's LA after all, and we are all known to be an open-minded, funky crowd (within reason).
