Ice cream social - Eagle Rock Valley Historical Society

For a fun, different-from-our-usual happy hour-styled events, come check out this: The Eagle Rock Valley Historical Society hosts its annual ice cream social on August 16. No high membership or donation pressure! It's extremely low key, but fun in a historical building that is fun to see in and of itself: a library from 1927 that is now the home of the Eagle Rock Center for the Arts.

The best of it all: free live music, free mingling, and $2 ice cream scoops with endless toppings! Bring kids, family, dogs, whatever.

I'll personally be there around 2.30 or 3.
