New Years Resolution to have more fun? Join us for our Spring Season!!!

Towne singers is excited to be beginning our Spring 2025 season! The theme of the Spring Concert is “Music from the Movies” and we will be singing songs you know and love made famous by a movie soundtrack.

This choir is very special! We have been singing for over 25 years in the Pasadena area. We are the only “non-audition” choir in the area. This “no pressure” approach makes our choir a perfect fit for folks who love to sing, but haven’t for a while (or ever in a structured setting).

We are open to new members in all vocal parts, men are (as always) very welcomed! From high soprano’s to low basses there is room for every voice In a choir, and we want you In ours!

You don’t have to come in knowing what section is best for your vocal range. You are not expected to know how to read music. You will improve your vocal tone, and learn to read music as you participate in weekly practices. Singing is so much more fun when you can blend into a group to create a warm rich sound.

Our conductor can help you find your vocal range. You can learn your music by practicing to the vocal tracks. By the time for the concert you will be ready to put on a great performance.

The first two practices are free and open to anyone. There is an orientation session to go over issues like attendance, dues, and other participation details, followed by a practice. This will give you a chance to see whether or not you would enjoy singing with us.

The open sessions will be on 2/3/25 and 2/10/25. Once these are over our roster for this season is complete, so make sure to plan to attend one of the orientations.

We practice every Monday evening from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm. Dues are low and can be paid monthly.

Being in a choir is great! You will make new friends as you develop your musical talent. We welcome diversity and have members aging from 20 - 80 yrs old.
