Join us to tend to the garden and harvest produce for local restaurants. Proceeds from the sales help support our CNGF programs**.

Every Saturday from 7:30am to ~9:30am at Hester Farm—1460 The Alameda, San Jose, CA 95126, we get together to perform whatever tasks are needed to maintain our garden. The farm is located behind the school off of Pershing Avenue—see the map and the location of the pin to find us.

Do feel free to come for any time/duration within those hours that works for your schedule. We will be happy to see you. Also, please do not feel like you need to stay the whole time!

Be sure to dress for gardening, bring a hat and water. If you have your own tools/gloves you are welcome to bring them, as we have a limited supply of clippers and hand trowels.

This is an outdoor, socially-distanced activity.

In the meantime, please check the two platforms we use to organize our community efforts:

  1. Our community Discord for more discussion and fun.
  2. Our volunteer organizing platform TrackItForward where we have a comprehensive calendar of upcoming volunteer events.
