What we’re about
Datamonster.IO is a data platform community that deals with all topics around data, from database development, data integration up to visualization. But also topics like Data Governance and Data Security are part of our focus.
The Regional Group Ruhrgebiet is a user group that provides a monthly hybrid event in the Ruhrgebiet area. Currently, we switch between Bochum, Mülheim an der Ruhr and Kamp-Lintfort.
The events are typically between 2 to 2.5 hours, and will be centered around 1 to 2 sessions around technical and strategical topics.
We welcome everyone with an interest in data platform related topics to attend, but also to use this opportunity to share knowledge and experiences.

Christmas Barbecue Ruhrgebiet - December 2025
Milestone Consult GmbH & Co. KG, Carl-Friedrich-Gauß-Straße 17, Kamp-Lintfort, DEDear Datamonsters,
the last meeting of 2025 in the Monsterhorde Ruhrgebiet will take place on 3rd of December at the Milestone Consult office in Kamp-Lintfort. Doors will open at 6pm, sessions (by Margarita Neumüller and Klaus Höltgen, see event link for more information) will start at 6:15pm and we would be happy to spend some time and share a "Bratwurst" with you after the sessions and have some friendly chats about technology, the past year and whatever feels interesting.
To help us plan how many sausages are needed, please register for the event until 1st of December 9pm. Of course you are still welcome to join without registration, but we might not have enough food for you.
Both speakers are happy to deliver the sessions in English if we have any non-German-speaking attendees!
