Who's fed up of the same ole same ole during New Year's Eve celebrations, lets do something different for a change, join me and celebrate Hogmanay, New Year in Scotland. We spent New Year's Eve in 2018 in Glasgow and we all had a blast, view a few of our photos below.

Hogmanay is what the Scots call New Years Eve marking the arrival of the new year. Its origins reach back to the celebration of the winter solstice among the Vikings with wild parties in late December.

They're not exaggerating when they say that Glasgow is one of the most exciting cities you'll ever come across. Scotland's largest city is a lively, bustling place, distinctive and full of character, where you are bound to get a very warm welcome indeed.

We will be staying in the city centre, an excellent location with just a short walk from the main shopping streets, night life, cocktail bars, art galleries, museums, late night shows and the theatres.

This trips starts from the 31st December to January 5th 2024

Itinerary

Day 1

We Depart from Gatwick Airport on New Year's Eve on arrival we are transferred to our hotel. Once we have checked in, we have free time to relax and explore our new surroundings before celebrating at a New Year's Eve Ball, full itinerary will be sent once you have paid in full.

NEW YEAR'S EVE Ball 7pm

Gatsby Hogmanay Party - Gatsby meets Peaky Blinders

Dress to impress, with Gatsby style glitz and glamour, with a resident DJ indulge in a four course meal while sipping on a glass of champagne and enjoy an evening filled with entertainment. We start the evening with a flock of glamorous feather showgirls, followed by our 1920’s inspired dance acts with modern twists. Then onto live performances from our authentic 7 piece swing band VINTAGE EXPLOSION who will play a mix of jump, jive, swing, rock & roll as well as a few classics leading you up to the 'grand' countdown

Day 3

Today after a super early breakfast we will experience the beauty of Glencoe, Fort William, and the Glenfinnan Viaduct on a guided tour. Let's admire the shores of Loch Shiel as we step into scenes used in famous films like the Harry Potter franchise. See the bridge that the Hogwarts Express passes over, visit the Glencoe meadow, view a piece of Jacobite history at the Glenfinnan Monument, and enjoy free time in the town of Fort William.

Day 4

Day trip to Edinburgh for lunch/dinner by train, let's start the New Year on a high with positive plans for the year.

Day 5

FREE TIME Optional trip to explore the land and legends of Scottish heroes William Wallace and Rob Roy and experience the natural beauty of Loch Lomond and The Trossachs on this tour from Glasgow. Additional fee £60

Day 6

FREE TIME Last Day

Optional City Sightseeing Glasgow Hop-On Hop-Off Tour if you haven't done so already, as we have a late flight home
