Forest and Trail Restoration

Details
Aloha and welcome all to another awesome adventure! This time we will be starting in the lush Nu'uanu Valley, heading back towards Lightning Falls, then turning off to take the K2 shortcut trail. After crossing the stream and heading up a little ways, we will settle down and start the project of both marking the trail without leaving markers and planting (native and non-invasive proffered) crops for harvest at a later date. This trail is very difficult to navigate trough the forest after dark, so I appreciate all the help I can get, as it seems the trail needs to be cleared and reclaimed every time we use it. There is one spot in particular that would be an excellent spot to start planting XL coconuts, noni, ginger and other useful plants for both a food source and a refreshment for hikers passing by. Time permits, there is a viewpoint near there we can hike to or Lightning Falls on the way back. There will be a few foraging opportunities along the way. Not a bus stop nearby, so Uber or message me for a ride. Thanks!
*This hike may get relocated, postponed or cancelled due to rain.
