About us

We are "Land in Sicht" an organic vegetable, flower & agri-education project at the "Kleine Stadtfarm" (the biggest urban farming project in Austria) situated at the edge of Vienna, where nature and city meet!

We offer Workshops and Events around the topics of socio-ecological transformation, organic agricultural practice and the joy and creativity of food production with nature-friendly and locally sourced ingredients!

Do you miss the right window for sowing your cucumbers every spring?
Do your tomato seedlings regularly droop before they ever make it outdoors? Or are you already an experienced gardener looking to pick up a few real professional tips for the year ahead?

Then come visit us at the Kleine Stadtfarm and join our "Grow your own Vegetables" Workshop`s Spring Edition on Feb, 21st OR Feb, 28th, marking the start of the gardening year. Our professional gardener and agricultural super-brain Kim will teach you everything about propagation and early sowing—from getting the timing right to raising strong, resilient young plants. Whether you grow on a windowsill, balcony, in raised beds, or in a garden, you’ll learn how to choose the right seeds and soil, how light, water, and temperature affect germination, and how to avoid common early-season mistakes.

We will learn and work in our own Land in Sicht - greenhouse as well as flower and vegetable field at the Kleine Stadtfarm, sowing a variety of vegetable crops together. Kim will share hands-on techniques for sowing depth, pricking out, and caring for seedlings—so your plants get the best possible start to the gardening year. And there will be plenty of time to ask all the questions - or share your own experiences!

Join this workshop on its own—or follow the garden through all four seasons as part of our full workshop series "In Tune with Nature – Gardening through the Seasons".
