9/12 Language Exchange (Eng-Kor, 1:1) - Family & Chuseok 🍂 @HUFS

🍂 For this special September event, we will be talking about family, ancestors, and Chuseok. For the group activity, we will be doing a yutnori game!

EVENT DESCRIPTION
Come join us for intimate, small-group style conversations with local Korean folks! While technically a ENG-KOR language exchange, we try to focus on building genuine relationships that can extend to outside the event.

• Guiding questions are provided, but participants are encouraged to freely share their own thoughts and experiences.
• Everyone will be placed in a group of 2 (or 3) and given 30 minutes to talk. Then switched to a different group. We believe that at least 20 minutes are needed to really get deeper and talk about personal experiences & perspectives.

ABOUT ME
My name is Juhee, and I teach English to Korean folks at Pastelling English ([@pastelling.eng](https://www.instagram.com/pastelling.eng/)), where I employ popular education methods and take a critical, decolonial approach to English education. I've been running these small group meetups since September 2025. Most of the Korean attendees are my students - women in their 20s and 30s.
