Sycamore Creek Church - NEW Eastwood Campus
Curious | Creative | Compassionate
A lot of people haven’t given up on God or Jesus, but are about to give up or already have given up on the church because of its silence about racism and its exclusion of LGBTQ people.
Sycamore Creek is a church that has moved from the suburbs into the city to start a NEW campus that will be an asset to the community by platforming artists, entrepreneurs, and all people who are multi-culturally curious, creative and compassionate. We keep the best of faith and leave the rest. We love Jesus AND justice.
So if you're looking for a NEW faith community that is CURIOUS, where you don't have to check your questions or your brain at the door; is CREATIVE, you can experiment and try new things "playing jazz" on traditions; and is COMPASSIONATE, including everyone (Black, brown, male, female, LGBTQIA, etc.); then Sycamore Creek’s NEW Eastwood Campus is the church for you to check out.
Sycamore Creek is remodeling and launching in the church building (with the red tin roof) across from Eastwood Towne Center in the fall of 2023. We currently have two campuses: S Lansing (1919 S Penn) and Potterville (105 N Church St.).
The future Eastwood Campus building is closed for remodeling, but you can join a preview on the 2nd Sundays each month beginning on Easter (April 9) in various community locations and the basement, with a Grand Opening on Sunday, October 1st. The remodel will include a performing arts center that will host local community theater and artists of all kinds.
