Hike - Sunset Rocks Circuit

An eight mile circuit hike, starting and ending at Pine Prove Furnace State Park, with most of the hike passing through the Michaux State Forest. Will pass by the Appalachian Trail halfway marker during the hike. Spectacular view from Sunset Rocks will be the highlight of the hike.

Meet 10:30 am at the Pine Grove Furnace State Park general store at 10:30 am. Carpool from Frederick from the Park & Ride at the intersection of Monocacy Blvd. and US Route 15, meeting time 9:15 am.
