Moving Day for David Lesser privy - materials

A chance to give back to this wonderful footpath! On Saturday September 19th, we'll be moving materials about 1/2 mile from the staging area to the David Lesser shelter, the northernmost shelter on the AT in Virginia. This is a much needed and much anticipated project as the old privy is FULL. The new privy will be a moldering (composting) privy which means we have a lot of materials to move. Come join in the fun, the camaraderie and get a great workout too. Homemade cookies for all volunteers!

Bring work gloves, water, and snack/lunch (besides cookies) We'll meet at the farm gate just opposite 133 Aerie Lane, Harpers Ferry , WV You will wind though the Shannondale community to get here.
