Step Construction/Stone hauling

Phase 2 of our step construction project at the 601 parking area access trail to the AT (Ashby Gap). Most of the materials are in place and we'll be building steps up to the parking area.

Bring water, lunch, work gloves, sturdy footwear, and strong muscles! If you have a hardhat bring along (but we have many extra) Hopefully multiple hands will make lighter work.

We'll meet (unless you receive a notice otherwise) at the 601 Parking area just north of Ashby Gap, VA (Route 50) Look for the small Trail parking sign on the west side of the road.
