Trail Maintenance Workshop

Training for new and experienced trail maintainers

Learn about:
• work trip safety and planning
• tools
• clipping, mowing
• blazing
• water and erosion dynamics
• rolling grade dips
• check dams
• and more!

This is on the job training. We will walk a trail section with tools and practice the tasks necessary for routine trail maintenance.
We will be walking and working, probably not more than a mile each way.

This is fun. Really

To Bring:
• Lots of water, snacks, lunch
• Gloves, clippers if you have them
• Work boots or hiking boots. Sneakers, running shoes are not appropriate for trail work.
• Weather appropriate clothing
• Sun screen, bug repellent

I will provide hard hats, safety glasses, the use of which is required.
I will provide tools.
