Excursion to Galaxy’s Edge – In-person Meetup

Join us in person for a trip to Black Spires Outpost, AKA Galaxy’s Edge on planet Batuu!

We’ll start off in Anaheim at Disneyland Park, their app converts your phone into a limited Vortex Manipulator allowing travel to Batuu! May 4th is now a celebrated Earth holiday so expect to see many devout believers on their pilgrimage; Oga Garra, a local "administrator," 😉😉 even arranged a new fireworks show for them! Star Tours also offers trips to other systems, and nearby their terminal, there’s a large domed flight simulator where you can take on Imperial Star Destroyers and TIE fighters!

Tickets/reservations may be purchased via the Disneyland Resort site: https://disneyland.disney.go.com Since some of us may only have a 1-day/1-park Disneyland Park pass, we'll primarily be on that side (and not DCA). We may also cross-meet with other Meetup groups. Meeting points, info through the day will be noted in comments below.

Please note the apparel restrictions: Dress Code | FAQ | Disneyland Resort (go.com) i.e., no costumes and this is not an official park special event. You may “DisneyBound” or “Star Wars Bound”; lightsabers permitted but as Wuher said, “No blasters! No blasters!” Gallifreyan High Council robes, etc are no longer acceptable (not after last year... Lord Rassilon’s high collar fell off in Temple of the Forbidden Eye and got wedged under the next vehicle) but... Earth-apparel a Time Lord, companions would wear would be OK on Batuu!
