What we’re about
Pathfinder and Starfinder Society, the organized play arm of the Pathfinder and Starfinder RPGs, are thriving in Baltimore! Join us at a variety of locations around Baltimore as we continue to Explore, Report, and Cooperate across the Inner Sea, the world of Golarion, and the whole galaxy!
About Organized Play
In an organized play campaign, your character exists in a common setting shared by thousands of other gamers worldwide. You can take your character to any public Organized Play event anywhere in the world, and while the Game Master and your companions might change every time you play, your character advances as normal.
Over time, campaigning in an organized play environment offers a uniquely immersive experience, as your diverse companions add depth and character to the campaign world. It's also a great way to get in touch with other local gamers, meet new people, and play regularly without all the prep work and scheduling of a traditional campaign. Your local regional coordinator (also called a Venture-Captain or Venture-Lieutenant) can assist you in finding or setting up your own Organized Play event.
How do I get started?
All Organized Play players must register themselves and their characters online. When you register, you'll receive an official Organized Play Number. Keep your Organized Play Number handy and bring it with you to every OP event you attend. Paizo uses this number to record the adventures your character has completed and the XP and gold they have gained.
If you just want to jump right in and don't want to worry about all that until you've had a chance to play, a pre-generated character can be provided for you at your first game.
Where can I play?
Once you've got an Organized Play Number and have created your character, you're ready to play your first Pathfinder or Starfinder Society adventure! The easiest way to find a local game is to join this Meetup and RSVP for one of the upcoming Meetups on this site with an advertised level range for a level 1 character. The level range will be listed at the end of the Meetup title in parenthesis such as (1-2),(1-4) or (3-6).
What do I have to bring?
At a minimum, you'll need a character sheet with all of your character information. You'll also need to know your Organized Play Number (it's a good idea to write it somewhere on your character sheet), a set of 7 polyhedral dice, a pencil, a 1-inch scale miniature or token to represent your character on a combat grid. Other players may be able to lend you dice or a miniature for the gaming session if you don't have any, but eventually, you'll want to get a set of your own. The only thing left needed is a desire to roleplay and have fun!
I hope to see you at the gaming table soon,

Venture-Lieutenants Randy Cronin, Heather and Travis Zimmerman, Eric Stevens, and Zachary Davis

A repeatable Starfinder Society Scenario designed for 3rd-level pregenerated characters.
Emerging suddenly from deep space, a massive alien starship has crashed into the surface of the planet Akiton, in an isolated region known as the Sloughscar Hills. Although the starship was traveling at speeds that should have cracked the planet in half, Akiton endured and the fallout was minimal. Within hours, salvagers and explorers the world over race to the wreck, determined to salvage what valuables and technology they can from the mysterious vessel.
Believing the starship has a connection to the mysterious First Ones, an advanced civilization from antiquity that the Starfinder Society believes aims to invade the Pact Worlds, the Starfinders hire the nearest team of mercenaries to enter and explore the wreck—you! Overcome dangerous creatures, malfunctioning technology, volatile magic, and opportunistic salvagers in your quest to be the first to explore the Wreck of the Returned!
Players use 3rd-level versions of the Starfinder iconic characters in this debut special adventure of Starfinder Society for Starfinder Second Edition! This adventure additionally serves as a prequel to the upcoming Invasion’s Edge storyline.
