Pathways To Volunteering (PTV) streamlines the sign-up process to volunteering by eliminating fees, orientation, training, countless forms and background checks. We handpick the best of the best activities from Non-profits and other organizations throughout Los Angeles and Orange County. 

There will always be a PTV Representative on site to manage the team and serve as a liaison to the partnering organization.  


We offer a variety of ways to for you and your family to get involved and lend a helping hand. Here are some of the nonprofits and/or organizations we partner with.

PTV also creates entry points to volunteering in developing countries, with the sole purpose to inspire sustainable living. We do this by giving a small gift to the organization. This helps the community and those in need.

Treat all individuals with a sense of dignity, respect, and worth. Make a personal commitment to be nonjudgmental about cultural differences, living conditions and the life-style of each person with whom you work. Be courteous and polite in all of your actions.


If a member experiences unwanted behavior from another member report it immediately to a organizer / Host. Any type of unwanted behavior toward another member is not permitted and is subject to immediate removal. 


If at any point you receive any e-mail / message that you feel is inappropriate, for any reason, please forward the email / message and other details about the communication to the PTV Organizer.


PTV does not discriminate based on race, color, sex, gender identity and/or expression, religion, sexual orientation, national origin, age or disability. 


In consideration for volunteering with Pathways To Volunteering, I hereby RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE AND CONVENANT NOT TO SUE the SPONSORS, partnering Organization, PTV Organizer, Members, Volunteers, Representatives, Event Hosts, their officers, servants, agents, and employees (hereinafter referred to as RELEASEES) from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions and cause of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by me, or to any property belonging to me, WHETHER CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES, or otherwise, while participating in such activity, or while in, on or upon the premises where the activity is being conducted or in transportation to and from said premises.

To the best of my knowledge, I can fully participate in this activity. I am fully aware of risks and hazards connected with the activity, including but not limited to the risks as noted herein, and I hereby elect to voluntarily participate in said activity, and to enter the above-named premises and engage in such activity knowing that the activity may be hazardous to me and my property. I VOLUNTARILY ASSUME FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY RISKS OF LOSS, PROPERTY DAMAGE OR PERSONAL INJURY, INCLUDING DEATH, that may be sustained by me, or any loss or damage to property owned by me, as a result of being engaged in such an activity, WHETHER CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF RELEASES or otherwise.

It is my express intent that this Waiver of Liability and Hold Harmless Agreement  shall bind the members of my family and spouse (if any), if I am alive, and my heirs, assigns and personal representative, if I am not alive, and shall be deemed as a RELEASE, WAIVER, DISCHARGE AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE the above named RELEASES. I hereby further agree that this Waiver of Liability and Hold Harmless Agreement shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California.

I UNDERSTAND THAT THE SPONSORS, Event Hosts, Event site, associated municipalities or any associates or agents of the aforementioned or any Releasee WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY MEDICAL COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH AN INJURY I MAY SUSTAIN OR CAUSE OTHERS TO SUSTAIN.



PTV Members grant permission to use my likeness, voice, photos and words in television, radio, file or in any form to promote activities of Pathways To Volunteering.


Volunteer Assumption of Risk, Waiver of Liability & COVID-19 Agreement 

Agreement: I attest that I am not experiencing any symptoms of illness such as a fever, cough, or shortness of breath. If I develop these symptoms, I agree that I will cancel my volunteer opportunity before arriving at Pathways To Volunteering. 

I am aware that I must follow the safety and hygiene protocols that have been implemented by Pathways To Volunteering. 

I attest that: I have not traveled internationally in the past 14 days I have not traveled to a highly impacted area within the United States in the past 14 days I do not believe that I have been exposed to a person with a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19

I have not been diagnosed with COVID-19 and not yet cleared as noncontagious by state or local public health authorities I am following recommended guidelines as much as possible - practicing social distancing, trying to maintain separation of six feet from others, and otherwise limiting my exposure to the coronavirus 

Assumption of Risk and Waiver of Liability 

I acknowledge that I have voluntarily applied to the Pathways To Volunteering program. I understand that the scope of my volunteer relationship with Pathways To Volunteering is limited to a volunteer position and that no compensation is expected in return for services provided by me; that Pathways To Volunteering will not provide any benefits traditionally associated with volunteer opportunities; and that I am responsible for my own insurance coverage in the event of illness or personal injury as a result of my services to Pathways To Volunteering. 

I understand that my volunteer activities with Pathways To Volunteering may include activities that could be hazardous to me, including but not limited to packing, loading, unloading and carrying heavy items, transportation to and from streets, and exposure to people with infectious diseases. I fully understand and appreciate the risks that are inherent to my volunteer activities. 

I hereby assume the risk of bodily injury, illness, death, medical treatment resulting from my volunteer activities even if resulting from the negligence of Pathways To Volunteering or its Executive Directors, volunteers or supporters. I hereby release, discharge and agree to indemnify and hold Pathways To Volunteering harmless from, and waive on behalf of myself, any and all causes of action, claims, demands, damage, costs, expenses and compensation or loss to myself that may be caused by any act, or failure to act of Pathways To Volunteering, or that may otherwise arise in any way in connection with any voluntary activities with, or for Pathways To Volunteering. 

I understand that this release discharges Pathways To Volunteering from any liability or claim that I am responsible for may have against Pathways To Volunteering with respect to any bodily injury, illness, death, medical treatment that may arise from or in connection with my volunteer activities. 

This liability waiver and release extends to Pathways To Volunteering together with all its Board of Directors, volunteers, affiliates, supporters and donors. 

By clicking “going” and or attending, you are agreeing to the Mission's Volunteer Assumption of Risk, Waiver of Liability & Covid-19 Agreement. You are also affirming that you have NOT traveled to a foreign country or area of the United States that is impacted by the COVID-19 coronavirus and you are NOT experiencing symptoms of illness right now. If you answer yes to either of these questions, please refrain from volunteering today. 

Volunteer Signature will be asked when arriving to volunteer with Pathways To Volunteering.
