What we're about

The mission of the Patuxent Toastmasters Club is to provide a friendly, mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every member has the opportunity to develop both communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth. Membership in Toastmasters is one of the greatest investments you can make in yourself and it is also one of the most cost-effective skill-building tools available anywhere. A Toastmasters meeting is a learn-by-doing workshop in which participants hone their speaking and leadership skills in a no-pressure atmosphere.
