Jackstraw "House-roasted coffee drinks & light lunch fare such as pastries & sandwiches in a stylish space."
At Sisters Coffee Company, great coffee is an experience. We take immense pride in crafting some of the most exceptional coffees in the Pacific Northwest and beyond β but for us, itβs never been just about the coffee. Itβs the down-to-earth hospitality, the cozy cafes, the real connections, and the enduring roll-up-your-sleeves spirit that keep people coming back, no matter where theyβre from.
That spirit started in 1989, when Winfield and Joy began roasting in a small wood cabin in Sisters, Oregon. With a 5-pound roaster and big ambition, they became the first specialty roasters in Central Oregon. Within six months, demand grew so quickly they upgraded to a larger roaster, and for the first twenty years the business thrived largely through wholesale, since the cabinβs retail space was only 250 square feet.
Today, that pioneer spark still guides us. We now have the pleasure of serving guests in three cafes and roasting over 500,000 pounds of coffee each year. The company is proudly run by Winfield and Joyβs children β Justin, Jared, and Jesse β who carry forward the same values their parents built into every batch and every customer interaction.
Our mission remains the same: to create an authentic coffee experience built on a deep love for our craft and heartfelt kindness for the people we serve. Itβs our familyβs way of sharing a taste of this special place with the world.
Welcome to the heart of the Cascades, wherever you may be.
