Enjoy this 5.4-mile loop trail near Oakridge, Oregon. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 2 h 39 min to complete. This is a very popular area for hiking and snowshoeing, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The best times to visit this trail are June through October. The trail starts at the fantastic Salt Creek Falls, which can be viewed from above (and, by following a spur not on this route, from below). Following Diamond Creek Falls Trail counter-clockwise, you first walk along the southern rim of Salt Creek Canyon, past Too Much Bear Lake (accessible via a spur), past Lower Diamond Creek Falls (which may be barely visible depending on foliage), past Upper Diamond Creek Falls (which can be viewed from the dedicated viewpoint or from below by following a spur not on this route), and then another approximately 1.4 miles along Vivian Lake Trail (#3662) to Fall Creek Falls. Aside from the falls and a few canyon views and glimpses of area peaks, the trail goes through a fairly dense pine forest.
