Try this 4.3-mile loop trail near Bend, Oregon. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 1 h 20 min to complete. This trail is great for birding, hiking, and running, and it's unlikely you'll encounter many other people while exploring. The best times to visit this trail are April through April. This is a nice loop around a few small ponds. Bring your binoculars, as the ponds are home to a variety of birds and other wildlife. In the distance, there are beautiful views of the Three Sisters and other surrounding mountains. There is little shade, so bring plenty of water and sun protection. This is a great early morning hike.
