WEATHER PERMITTING! Nov 19th is the planned closure so we will cut this close! THIS TRAIL IS FILLED WITH WATERFALLS, GREENERY AND SOUNDS OF THE RIVER. APPROX 6 MODERATE MILES. The road into the campground is wash board and dusty...for about a mile or so.
We will do THE LAST PORTION of the trail, approximately 6-7 miles. This is a beautiful, little traveled section of the trail and something different!

Driving directions:
Take US97 South, Left on Paulina Lake road, Left at the sign for McKay Crossing Campground (NF-2120). Go about 2.2 miles, turn left into the campground and cross the bridge. the trailhead is just past the bridge.
