I haven't done this hike since last year and November might be a good time to revisit it. Please arrive a little early, UNRSVP if you can't make it. Bring pole(s), 10 Essentials, proper hiking boots, water, snacks, dress in layers, Oregon park pass needed.

Experience this 4.3-mile out-and-back trail near Terrebonne, Oregon. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 1 h 34 min to complete. This is a very popular area for hiking, mountain biking, and running, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The best times to visit this trail are March through October. NO DOGS PLEASE.
• Smith Rock State Park charges a day-use parking fee to enter. For more information, please visit https://stateparks.oregon.gov/index.cfm?do=visit.day-use. This is a great trail to take in the beauty of Smith Rock State Park. Enjoy this nice walk along the river with beautiful views of the nearby rock features. Keep an eye out for climbers scaling the tall walls. There are a few spots along the way to stop and put your feet in the water or take a snack break. This is a great trail for the entire family.

Recent reviews of the Crooked River Trail in Terrebonne, Oregon, mention that the trail can be busy and crowded, especially after 9 AM. Some parts of the trail were muddy and icy, but easy to navigate with regular hiking shoes. The trail is easy and flat once down to the river from the parking area, with stunning views in the sunny parts. The trail offers beautiful scenery, easy walking, and opportunities to view rock climbers on Smith Rock. Typically in March, the trail may still have some muddy or icy patches, but is generally an easy option for a scenic hike.

ATTENDING EVENTS
Please read the entire event description before signing up and only sign-up for events within your capabilities.
All events have an attendee limit. Attendee limits are determined by the nature of the event and the number of Event Hosts attending an event.
Events fill-up quickly. Members are encouraged to download the Meetup app to receive notifications for events as soon as they are posted.
When an event is full (reached its attendee limit), you may be assigned to the Waitlist. If spots open up, members are automatically RSVPed to the event in the order that they joined the Waitlist. Please be patient if you’re on the Waitlist. It's common for the head count to fall as an event gets closer, and most likely you will be RSVPed.
If you are unable to attend an event, please unRSVP no later than 24-hours prior to the event. This allows members on the Waitlist to be RSVPed.
If you are unable to attend an event the day of the event, please contact the Event Host as soon as possible. Otherwise, the Event Host may proceed with the event without you.
No shows will be marked as such and after three no shows you will be a “no go.”
