Details
Something different to start the New Year! Let's have a lovely lunch at Pastini on the River and then walk it off along the Deschutes Trail. (Easy 4.4 miles). IT'S OK TO ONLY HAVE LUNCH OR TO ONLY WALK, PLEASE MAKE A COMMENT BELOW IF THIS IS THE CASE.
GUESTS ARE ALLOWED.
Come and enjoy lunch at Pastini and walk the Old Mill Deschutes Trail afterwards:
****Pastini: Inspired by the farms, vineyards and waters of the Pacific Northwest, we at Pastini are dedicated to serving up two of life’s greatest pleasures… pasta and wine. We love how a steaming bowl of pasta warms your hands as well as your spirits. We love the sound a cork makes when it nudges away from the bottle. Using responsibly sourced ingredients, we craft craveable dishes with a local sensibility that is true to our roots. Our thoughtfully curated wine list celebrates both stellar Northwest wineries, and small family-owned vineyards in Italy. With every meal, we aim to bring our guests together to share made-from-scratch meals that are seasoned with laughter and great wine.
****Walk/Hike the Deschutes River Trail: Old Mill Reach
A ridge climb tops the Deschutes River Trail. There are paved riverbank walks along some of the trails. Along the walk, ducks, squirrels, and beavers are frequently spotted. Rock climbers may even be visible, bouldering along the coast. You'll be rewarded into the area's past along the Old Mill Reach. This park is the remnant of the logging industry, which once produced board feet of lumber from two mills, ushering in the region's industrial heyday.

ATTENDING EVENTS
Please read the entire event description before signing up and only sign-up for events within your capabilities. If you RSVP and can't make it...UNRSVP!
All events have an attendee limit. Attendee limits are determined by the nature of the event and the number of Event Hosts attending an event.
Events fill-up quickly. Members are encouraged to download the Meetup app to receive notifications for events as soon as they are posted.
When an event is full (reached its attendee limit), you may be assigned to the Waitlist. If spots open up, members are automatically RSVPed to the event in the order that they joined the Waitlist. Please be patient if you’re on the Waitlist. It's common for the head count to fall as an event gets closer, and most likely you will be RSVPed.
If you are unable to attend an event, please unRSVP prior to the event. This allows members on the Waitlist to be RSVPed. I don't need a reason or explanation as to WHY you can't attend.
No shows will be marked as such and after three no shows you will be a “no go.”
RISKS AND WAIVER
No activity is without risk. Please read the entire event description before signing up and only sign up for events within your capabilities. PPSG members are responsible for making their own decision on acceptable risks.
PPSG event hosts are volunteers and not trained professionals. Anyone attending any posted event assumes all personal risk to themselves and releases Paulina Peak Social Group, its Organizers, Event Hosts, and its members from all liability.
