Singles 50–69 Dog Lovers Hike – Deer Run Trail

🌿 About This Walk
Join us for a relaxed, friendly walk through the peaceful Deer Run Trail — a great way to meet other single dog lovers (with or without dogs) ages 50–69. Expect an easy pace, good conversation, and a welcoming, no-pressure atmosphere.

⭐ Who This Event Is For
• Single adults ages 50–69
• Dog lovers (with or without dogs)
• People who enjoy nature, light activity, and genuine connection
Come as you are — no pressure, no awkwardness.
Just a walk, some conversation, and good company.

Meeting Spot:

• We’ll meet in the parking lot off 371 Aspen Forest Dr (close to tennis courts)
• Look for the group of friendly humans and dogs.
• Please arrive 5–10 minutes early so we can begin together.

🐶 Dog Requirements (for everyone’s comfort + safety)

• Dogs must be spayed/neutered
• Dogs must be friendly and non-reactive with unfamiliar dogs/people
• Dogs must remain on-leash
• Dogs should comfortably walk for 45–60 minutes
  Breed Compatibility Note
• Due to my own dog’s past trauma, this event is not suitable for: bully-type breeds, mastiffs, pit bulls, boxers, or German shepherds. Thank you for understanding.

Annual Fee
This event is free.
The group has a $10 annual fee to help support Meetup organizer costs.
You can pay by e-transfer or at your first hike.
I’ll provide payment details privately once your membership is approved.

Space is limited to 10 participants.
If the event fills up, feel free to join the waiting list — spots often open up.

What to Wear & Bring
Dress for the weather and trail conditions — it may be snowy, icy, or muddy, so wear comfortable footwear with good traction.
Bring:

• Water for you and your dog
• Waste bags
• A friendly, open attitude
