What we’re about

Are you a progressive Jewish person looking for community but having trouble finding it?

Maybe you're interested in meeting and building a community with other progressive Jewish people who are interested in exploring Judaism in ways that seek to de-center colonial systems and colonized modes of thinking.

Maybe you're interested in helping build a community dedicated to accessibility and being a safe space for people to explore difficult contemporary events through a progressive Jewish lens.

Maybe you're interested in exploring spiritual practices and observing holidays from a Jewish perspective in a safe, accepting community where we're all learning together.

I am dedicated to bringing together a chavurah in our area that is an open, safe community for all progressive Jewish people and our loved ones and allies. Diversity makes us all better. Jews of Color, Jews by choice, Jews in interfaith relationships, Jews who are gender questioning or gender non-conforming, Jews with autism/ADHD/other neurodiversity, Jews with disabilities, Jews who support a free Palestine and support Israelis and Palestinians working together to find a path to peace that doesn't include genocide. (Or, if you don't support it yet, you're interested in learning about the situation from a de-colonial perspective.)

There is no physical space for this group, so gatherings and events will be in local public places where we can gather without any expectation of spending money. I am committed to making this group accessible, so if you would like to join us but need an accommodation, please reach out.

My vision is community-first, disorganized religion that focuses on building a strong community where we can all grow together. If any of that sounds interesting to you, I'd love to meet!
