Payments Roadmap 2027: a working session for payments product teams
Details
Most payments product managers build next year's roadmap alone, in a spreadsheet, with no view of what other companies are putting on theirs.
We will host a lean coffee style working session for people who own payments product at merchants, platforms and marketplaces. No slides, no vendor pitches.
How it runs:
- quick round of intros, who you are and what your payments setup looks like
- everyone adds their roadmap questions to a shared FigJam board
- we group duplicates and pitch the remaining questions
- dot vote on what to discuss
- we work through the top two questions, sharing what actually made it onto our 2027 roadmaps and what got cut
- each person names one thing they'll change in their plan
Bring one real question from your own 2027 planning. You'll leave with other companies' inputs: what they include, how they sequence compliance work against product work, and who signs off.
How/when/where
- Wednesday, November 4, 2026, 11:30am ET (4:30pm London, 5:30pm CET, 8:30am PT)
- 45 minutes on Zoom
- We use FigJam. Free Figma account needed. If you can't get in, drop your questions in the Zoom chat and I'll add them
- Notes and recording shared with everyone who registers
Hosted by Nikita Skitev, PAYMENTS FM.
Who it's for: payments product managers, heads of payments, product leads at merchants, platforms and marketplaces. If you work at a PSP and want to pitch, this isn't the room.
